OnePlus 12 smartphone has been launched. The smartphone has been launched at a budget price. The price of 8GB 128GB version of OnePlus 12R is Rs 39,999. OnePlus 12R gets the protection of Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 and has an aluminum frame on the sides. The phone is very powerful. Durability test of OnePlus 12R was done.

Waterproof Test :
OnePlus 12R was water tested. Turned on video recording of the phone and put it in water. As soon as it went into water, the recording stopped. Kept OnePlus 12R under water for more than 5 minutes. Then when the phone was taken out of water and checked, it was found to be water damaged. OnePlus 12R is not water proof. Very disappointing that such an expensive phone does not come water proof.

scratch Test :
OnePlus 12R was scratch tested. First the scratch test was done from the front side, most of the scratches came on the lower side of the display. OnePlus 12R has Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection on the front and back. Scratched on the back panel. Most of the scratches are on the lower side of the back panel. Aluminum frame is available on the side. OnePlus 12R performed best in the scratch test.
Burning Test :
Burning test of OnePlus 12R was conducted. The lighter was held on the display of OnePlus 12R for 14 seconds. A black spot appeared on the display of OnePlus 12R due to the burning test. The display did not perform well against heat. Keeping the display of OnePlus 12R exposed to heat for a long time can damage the display.

Bend Test :
Bend test of OnePlus 12R was done. OnePlus 12R was first bent from the front side but the phone did not bend, then the phone was bent from the back side but the phone did not bend. OnePlus 12R passes the bend test.

Complete durability test of OnePlus 12R was done. The phone performed better in durability test. OnePlus 12R gets the protection of Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 which is very solid. OnePlus 12R is the most durable phone.
